The struggling between the Republicans and the Democrats has become a power-based struggle instead of an ideology-based struggle. Under this, the objective is just to get in power, keep the power for all long as you can, and do NOTHING with it!!! Conservatives have a blind hatred for government and liberals see it as a church. Bloomberg was right on the money when he said that whatever the size of government, it must be made to work better. This is the real issue! Do you think if government was more efficient and most people were fat and happy that they'd be complaining about government in the first place?
